BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1652 E, Transitional Type VIII/A, rare, NGC VF details / sea salvaged (Shipwreck Blue Label). S-P37; KM-A20.8; Cal-1495. 21.29 grams. Broad flan with lots of legend and full inner details (all three dates and mintmarks and assayers), but moderate corrosion all over, nicely toned, mislabeled by NGC as having "HP" at top (which would be Type VII) but actually the rare mule with final adopted pillars side married with previous shield side.
